WOOO! I'm going to get more aloe plants! I really like it's flower - kind of skeletal and alien looking. Around here when the Century plant blooms it sends this kind of bloom about 100 feet into the air. When we first moved down here the kids called the blooms of the century plant Alien Fingers and that name has stuck. Here's my own mini version of an Alien Finger. The dentist said I could double the Lortab if it didn't help and I think I may not be able to take that much so I'm just taking ibuprofen instead. It's a sweetish tart fruit that is sort of apple textured, and tastes like a mango crossed with a peach. It's mighty tasty, but the flesh to pit ratio is small so it's not really easy to eat without chipping a tooth. The fruit also will not ripen if picked too early and it does not keep well.
